Webinar on Radio Music Licensing Agreements 10/31

The radio industry pays significant license fees to ASCAP, BMI and SESAC.  The Radio Music License Committee (RMLC) represents the interests of the commercial radio industry on music licensing issues, and works to achieve fair and reasonable license fees with the music licensing organizations on behalf of radio stations.

The Massachusetts Broadcasters Association is pleased to offer an update on radio music licensing agreements on Wednesday, Oct. 31, at 11 a.m. EDT.

This webinar, presented by Bill Velez, Executive Director of the Radio Music License Committee, will review the recent ASCAP and BMI settlements that resulted in industry licenses for the term 2010-2016.  The current status of SESAC licensing will also be discussed.

The session will last approximately 45 minutes.   Participants will need a computer connected with Internet access to view the presentation and hear the audio.  A dial-in number will also be provided for those wishing to access the audio over a phone line.
