Lead our sales team in Scenic Providence Rhode Island.

This position is responsible for leading a multi-faceted sales strategy, growing share by serving local clients, developing results producing digital campaigns, and developing brand new TV/Digital business. The Local Sales Manager is responsible for developing a strong, forward-thinking sales team and will successfully train each Account Executive to meet sales goals. The position reports to the General Manager.


It is imperative to have a positive winning attitude and to ignite passion in others.

We want someone with a proven history of exceeding advertising sales goals, both television and digital. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational, presentation & leadership skills and enjoy being in front of our clients. We are looking for an idea person and strategic thinker who not only creates sales opportunities for advertisers but also helps in the continuing development of our entire team. 




·         Lead a team of direct reports of AEs

·         Clearly define account executives’ performance expectations and measurements to assure account executives achieve their goals.

·         Conduct one – one weekly meetings with local account executives to review activity.

·         Develop strong relationships with local clients and develop growth strategies for their businesses, utilizing customized screen-based advertising solutions.

·         Identify market potential through lead generation and qualification

·         Complete appropriate business activity reports and forecasts as required

·         Supports sales staff with ride-along coaching, participating in client meetings, developing proposals and other aspects of the full sales process. Recommend/conduct appropriate training as needed.​

·         Oversee accounts receivable and credit policies.

·         Know strengths and weaknesses of competing stations, other advertising mediums and position station accordingly.





·         Minimum 5 years of media sales experience managing a team of account executives selling TV and Digital products.

·         Documented record of exceeding activity and revenue goals

·         Knowledge of all facets of digital sales and marketing including email marketing, targeted display, OTT, and google ad words.

·         Proven track record of developing new business and solution selling

·         Strong time management and organizational skills; the candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure, evolving environment

·         Outstanding presentation abilities, in-person, virtual, small/large groups.

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google suite of products, Wide Orbit Traffic and Wide Orbit Media Sales, Sharebuilders, CRM, and Comscore. College Degree: Major in Business, Communications, or Marketing preferred

·         Valid driver’s license.

·         Fluent in English
