Radio and TV Reporter
  • July 30, 2019

My background includes everything from talking to groups of grown men in Togo about sexual consent and alcohol abuse to removing invasive Russian Olive trees in Canyon de Chelly National Monument in Navajo Nation. I have led crews in wilderness situations and managed classrooms of over 100 students. I believe the combination of my various skills has primed me to work in even the toughest radio newsroom.  I have technical computer skills from Adobe Audition and Premiere Pro to ProTools. I have shot and edited my own short films around the world, even working in dusty environments without electricity. Whether it be pitching story ideas, reaching out to sources, pre-interviewing, interviewing, writing, or editing I am eager to contribute my unique perspective on both global and local issues.  While I am eager to report on most beats, I am particularly drawn to environmental stories and telling them with the urgency they deserve.
