Objective

To continue my career in broadcasting, with expansion in news reporting.

Qualifications

For the past ten years I have worked in the newsroom of WOKQ/WPKQ Radio in Dover, NH as the anchor of the afternoon drive. I was also the Public Affairs Director and produced a thirty minute interview program called “Reporter's File” as well as compliled a list of Public Service announcements that regularly ran on both stations. When needed, I traveled to news events in the seacoast area to gather sound bites and/or interview newsmakers. From time to time I've filled in for the Morning Drive segment of the day, and also worked on Saturday morning broadcasts.

From September of 2000 to September 2005 I was employed by Garrison City Broadcasting in Dover, NH (WTSN – AM and WBYY – FM). I began as a board operator for Yankees games and also managed a crew of board operators for the UNH Sports Network of which WTSN was the flagship station at the time. This led to the co-anchoring of newscasts on the evening drive as well as operating the board for national talk shows. I've worked extensively with Cool Edit and Audio Vault software, as well as several forms of portable recording devices such as Marantz units and Mini Disc recorders.

Education

Graduated from Marshwood High School in Eliot, Maine with the class of 1972.

Awards
I have won several awards from The New Hampshire Association of Broadcasters over the years including first place awards for feature, documentary, and public affairs programming for the production of WOKQ's “Reporter's File” program.
