Radio XL5, Boston, MA, April 2012 to Present

Radio Personality/Program director and creative content/branding director with emphasis on creating a hit radio music station originating from Boston for the USA and the world unlike anything on the air today. Part of the strategy is to engage the listener with technically sonic- stimulating audio with a positive and encouraging message. Dedicated to “family friendly”, the station strives to play the clean edits of today’s hit music. The music is selected based on Billboard, BBC1, and by monitoring music played in certain national retail outlets. The station has attracted listeners from over 38 countries.

  • Creative content includes station branding, promos, segways, IDs and public service announcements and station web design. Monitoring of web site analytics for improving web traffic. Content amplification. The theme and sonic image of the station is “The Nation’s Hit Music Station!”. Our visual image is always based on the Boston skyline or images of Boston’s rich history with respect the USA being the “freedom” beacon to the rest of the world. We use Facebook, Twitter and our blog.

South Shore Habitat for Humanity (SSHH) 2002-2009

  • Director of Public Relations/Media relations, web content creator/designer (video and audio production) and Member of Board of Directors. Interfaced with local radio and TV outlets regarding SSHH’s events, coordinating critical aspects of major fundraisers for affiliate such as annual Gala at Reebok World HQ and Annual Bird House Show at South Shore Plaza. Also produced video content for the SSHH web site. During my tenure profits at Bird House Show and Gala increased on average 12-15%. Web content garnered a donation of a professional trade show display system which saved the Bird House Show from being cancelled at the traditional shopping mall home. Advocated techniques to improve SEO of web site and use of analytics to measure performance.
